• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Knowing when the time is ripe.

Knowing that staying longer will only inflict more pain to loved ones.

Not turning to drugs or alcohol and making yourself unnecessarily miserable, with loved ones experiencing it.

Not being a burden to society and social security systems.

Not producing more CO2-emissions, but zeroing your ecological footprint.

Not wasting money. Giving it to them who want to live.

Not wasting time of therapists, who can use their resources to help others that are still willing to fight.

Taking time and being conscious of a method that minimizes pain and trauma of others.

Writing a clear-thought goodbye letter.

I don't think CTBing saves pain from loved ones :'( ❤️

Screw society, be a burden if you need to be, it's what it's there for, to support ❤️

CTB is murder

of the self

It takes WORK and dedication—and yes, strength.

It's probably easier to murder a different body than it is to murder the self.

It's not fair how we just slip into this world—not even fully aware of our existence at first—but to leave it is an ORDEAL.

I agree with most of what you've written - except I don't believe it spares pain

In my experience it, it multiplies it & ripples out

On one hand I think it takes huge strength…. And on the other hand, I think it takes equal if not more strength to turn and say "I choose to live intentionally" and work on creating a meaningful life worth living

I wish I'd the strength for either instead of being lost in this miserable limbo in between

Overriding your survival instinct requires a lot of strength and determination.
Living life full of pain, disappointment and suffering also requires a lot of strength and determination.
People tends to choose whatever is easier for them.
If someone chooses to live, it means that this option is more acceptable for him.
If someone chooses to die, it means that this option is more acceptable for him.
So claiming that suicide is for weaklings is bullshit. Similarly, claiming that living is for weaklings is bullshit.

I always envy those who leave this world. Those who ctb are freeing themselves from a life that they never asked for and are choosing to end their suffering for when the time is right for them. Suicide is certainly the best way to die, at least for me. But I hate the fact how leaving this world can be such a complicated struggle. It really shouldn't be. Dying should be as straightforward as just wishing to be gone, and this is what we deserve the option of after unfairly being forced into a life that we never asked for. But suicide could never be weak no matter what. I see it as being rational and desirable to decide to set ourselves free from the burden that is existence to prevent unnecessary torment.

Having the strength, guts, and balls to override survival instinct, is brave, no matter what method is chosen.

Many fear they don't deserve death . Even with N on hand . But no humane support.

For me personally, I don't really feel brave. I'm just making a tough choice that I wish I didn't have to make.
