Suddenly seeing the beauty

I just wanted to share to see if anyone else has had this experience.
I'm hoping to ctb within the next couple of weeks, still working on getting it right. Since knowing that I will escape this hell soon, suddenly the world has started to seem more beautiful.
Not in a 'I want to stay' way, more in a 'I can see the beauty knowing I'll be free soon' kind of way.
The main reason it shocks me is because the planet I've spent so long seeing in black and white is suddenly so bright and beautiful but only because of the promise of finally leaving.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Any ideas why the filter of living makes everything so horribly ugly?

Yea it's a great feeling right. To be free. It's like you're slowly taking one last breath and noticing how peaceful everything is.

Yes, as you say here, its - "Only because of the promise of finally leaving."
For those who don't leave the beauty vanishes again !

I think you're correct there, there is a unique perspective that's to be gained from realising life is something we move through and have the power to leave at any time.
Slightly envious of the happily naive people but at least this phenomenon allows us to feel a little joy and appreciate the earth before choicing to end our journey.
