Hey all, as you all probably can tell, I'm a new user. Making this thread to ask a question: "What should I do here on SS?". I want to interact with the community and make friends! Where should I start? What should I do? These are just some questions I have! Thanks for reading.

You could start by making lots of posts to gain a reputation here. After a while, you will gain access to the chat page, there, you can chat with people and make some friends in the process. You could also search for methods and comment any questions you have on them, someone will answer it and if they don't (usually if its an old forum), you can make your own post and ask the question there.

as it seems to me, this is not the best far platform for meeting people, since there are many people here who are suffering and want to make a safe ctb as soon as possible. But as a member of this community, I can say that the people here are very kind and good, but just as broken as I am. You can like someone, create posts, answer questions from other users and thereby look for Internet friends who will understand you and this is very cool. Well good luck

By the way if you don't have access to the search function yet it will appear after making a few more posts if your account is over 24 hours old, if you wish to search for previous threads. And I just think the forum is pretty much self explanatory, the suicide discussion is for discussing suicide related subjects or just venting about wanting to die and there is an offtopic section for other discussions not related to suicide.

To make more posts, check out the Offtopic subforum. Apart from playing games like someone's already suggested, you can introduce yourself in the introduction megathread, post what you're listening to in the music megathread, answer discussion questions or polls... and so on.
