Alright... well I have bad tinnitus that keeps me from falling asleep now. I'm thinking it's stressed tinnitus, and I hope it'll go away with time, but in the meanwhile how do the people here with tinnitus actually help it/cope with it?

Mine's a very high-pitched hissing that's coming from inside my head. It's started happening right after I joined the forums, and ut's been a few days now of having a lot of trouble sleeping. I need silence in my life and I hope I won't lose it.

So yeah, what are some good resources to help me live with it? Are there exercices I can do? Is there anything I can do to help it?

Help meee~Ă—

Reduce stress.

I get tinnitus when I'm physically or mentally sick. When I'm tired, ill, anxious, etc. Luckily it tends to go away quickly, but it's basically an alarm bell for me to take care of my body.

diaphragmatic breathing, EFT tapping. if you don't have a nighttime routine, make one so your body can relax a bit before bed.

I'm not necessarily sure if this could help, but it might be worth a try. Background noise might help distract your mind from it? Like listening to white or brown noise could maybe help.
