Something you've been disappointed by and something you've been surprised by

I don't know what you would call this but I saw something on YouTube it was like a post I guess, I can't find it now but it was really interesting seeing all the comments when someone asked "what's the biggest thing that surprised you about being an adult" And the top response was "how low everyone's moral compass is."

So I kind of wanted to create that here, I've been surprised by how so many lousy people become managers, But I've also been surprised that there is someone out there for me, It's just a shame they're in a different country figure I would balance a bad thing with a good thing

Guess I'm always disappointed by how just when I imagine everything that could possibly go wrong, has gone wrong .. something new goes amiss.
And surprised that I've survived this long.
