Venting Someone said they'd help and support me but then ghosted me

I'm honestly not sure how to cope with being abandoned like this. I've sent this person multiple texts asking to meet up to support me through getting a diagnosis, one that could change my life for the better, but haven't received a response in well over a week. It doesn't seem fair, I want to call it out but I know I'll be painted as the bad guy. People do this type of shit and then wonder why I want to CTB. Just watch, when I finally end up doing it they'll be all "sad", pretending they ever even gave a shit, and they'll "wonder" what they could have done to prevent it. If that person ever reads this, fuck you.

True, I think. I also suspect it's because people like to think they're good & virtuous, but when it comes down to putting in the real work that would *make* them those things, they bail cause, ya know, it all requires actual effort and sacrifice.

I hate that we're more connected than we've ever been as a species, yet simultaneously & ironically more disconnected from eachother than we've ever been. Ghosting & avoidant behavior is tolerated and even enabled. I get more depressed whenever I think about it.

I feel this. I have a few acquaintances whom I've messaged and it's not even that I'm left on read, they haven't even opened the message. I have a sibling with the same thing.

I have never been this alone in my entire life. I just want one person as a friend.

y heart breaks so much for you, as doing such a thing as "ghosting" another person is so WRONG and guess what? They WILL get it back in return fashion, oh yes, they will.

Human nature is such that we ALL want to know that not only that we matter but that we are part of something bigger and to have someone say yes then ignore after the fact is 100% wrong period.

You are a thoughtfully wonderful person and that is one of the wonders of SaSu, is that we are here for each other and trust me, at the age of 70, I have seen it time and time again seen folks being everything from mean and thoughtless to so much worse and every darn time it comes back and smacks them so hard.

You WILL do and be great, I believe in YOU so much and I know it can be so very hard, but try and not let the idiots get you down, as a beautiful sun rise is coming for you and you are and will be even more of a shining star to behold.
