So, a friend and I were joking and he made a comment about injecting someone with air - causing a pulmonary embolism. I'm wondering if that's reliable enough to be considered? And is it instant and/or painless?

It will not work at all....if it did I would have died several times over.

It is a method but not very reliable. It's discussed a bit in Stone's "Suicide and attempted suicide", you can find the download in method resources in the pinned thread
