Discussion So, which medication will you choose?

Imagine you could get any medication you wanted, with or without a prescription (which is my case ^^). Which one would you choose for an overdose???
(Just to clarify, I can only get medications available at pharmacies that don't require a secure prescription, e.g., opioids, curare, anesthetics: propofol and thiopental), but I can get everything else.

Which one would you choose?
Here's my list:
- 3 different types of benzos (oxazepam, bromazepam, and diazepam)
- Maximum dose of phenobarbital
- Non-cardioselective beta-blocker: propranolol
- Antiemetics: ondansetron and metoclopramide

Even though this combination is dangerous, it is likely not fatal without opioids or barbiturates.
So what would you do???

overdose from prescription opioids are very rare. it is street drugs that are dangerous.
but the reason medication OD is considered a non method is because they are generally not lethal and there are too many unknown factors to make it reliable. possible, maybe, but not in a way anyone here or any resource can really help you with.

I've read some medical reports, and some people have used similar amounts. Propranolol is part of my plan, though I intend to take it with amitriptyline

It's true that amitriptyline is listed in the PPHE, but it recommends combining it with a digitalis: digoxin.

However, digitalis overdoses are well known to cause severe vomiting, unlike propranolol.

Personally, I stick with propranolol; even though an overdose of propranolol alone isn't very dangerous, when combined with other antihypertensive medications, there is a real risk of shock.

I think the only way to achieve CTB with medication is to have a combination of benzodiazepines + a cardiotoxic agent (propranolol or amitriptyline + digoxin) and an opioid or propofol or thiopental

but the problem remains the same: accessibility...

It's a benzodiazepine… It will ease anxiety before the CTB, but not the pain.

I've taken high doses of benzos before; I fell asleep quickly, but I was still able to wake up.

In the event of drowning, it won't relieve the pain.

And then some non-doctor prescriber started me on propranolol, but I don't really use it much... I have started stockpiling because they keep letting me renew my prescription without any question

If it were a reliable method, I'd probably choose the medications I currently have access to: Pregabalin (an anticonvulsant/gabapentinoid), Clonidine (an antihypertensive), Xanax (benzodiazepine), and Gabapentin (gabapentinoid). Maybe with the correct (large) amount, these medications could cause severe amounts of respiratory depression, and rarely death, but it would have to be some crazy quantity for it to be fatal. (At least this applies to most OTC and prescription medication, maybe not Xanax, but I'm unsure...) I consider it, but I know it won't work, and it is heavily unreliable..
