• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

confirmed C--PSTD,
interesting how many of us are here for that and PTSD.

They are looking into BPD and want to diagnose that , but Bi Polar was mentioned.

I know I have high anxiety, suffer from panic attacks, I have no idea on anything else, I tend to try and avoid all medical appointments

OCD, PTSD, ADHD, Anxiety, possibly Asperger's and Depression (obviously)
I also have manic episodes, most usually when I'm under alot of stress
Bipolar NS. I couldn't get a doctor to specify, but I can't blame them. I have mixed episodes and mood shifts. One of them thought I was a rapid cycler. I also have anxiety, ADHD, and a mild case of trichotillomania, but as long as I keep my hair short I'm good. All the other stuff aside from the trich is in control now though. I'm on meds and doing amazing relative to before.

I'm sorry you guys have so many labels attached to you all. I feel the labeling of people isn't healthy much of the time.

Do any of you ever feel happy, or content, or get enjoyment out of anything (aside from getting high I mean)? Do you ever have fun?

Trust me, I don't like the labels.
But something is clearly wrong, and other than just "f*cked in the head", 'diagnoses' are really the only other way to explain such issues.

Personally? Not really content or any happiness for me. Fleeting moments here and there, but never lasting. No fun, other than getting high, I don't enjoy anything in life anymore, literally nothing. I'm bored with the things that used to make me happy when I was younger.
Now I just do such things feebly trying to get some sort of enjoyment, but that only makes me more sad.

Sometimes I wonder if the things I've went through wired my brain into being such a loser and garbage human being, rather than chemical imbalances.
I wouldn't know, I'm tired of being a miserable, self-loathing person lol. But I've lost my ignorance and capacity to "just be happy cause I'm alive".

I'm very interested in what you told me about this.

Looking back when did you start getting high and on what, and did that time relate to the feelings of not having fun or enjoying anything in life? I'm just wondering if getting high caused it. I know you see it as a relief from it but just trying to understand more about it. (I've been through severe depression so I know how bad it is.) I do accept it is depression. Aside from my own, I've known a couple people who have it, one of whom ended his life with a rifle.

Also wondering if you have ever hallucinated anything (not while high).

Just weed. Don't get to often, as I don't have a source I can actually pay for, the household I live in sometimes lets me use with them.
Started after I escaped my family and went to live with said people a little over a year ago.

But no, I've realized I had problems, including depression, about since 8th grade. Stopped having any real fun or enjoyment out of life at about 16-17ish.

Weed just makes me feel lighter. The weight of all my stress, worries and anxiety lifts off my shoulders.
Those are truly the only moments I actually can have some kind of fun, enjoy life, and not feel existential dread constantly.
I suppose that's why weed has good usage medically, and thankfully now legal to be used recreationally in Arizona.

Also, to clarify. Just weed edibles now. I hate smoking, it burns my throat and lungs and hate the coughing. Dry mouth is the worst...

I have been diagnosed with Social Anxiety Disorder, Depression, General Anxiety Disorder, OCD and Paranoid Personality Disorder. There have been lots of therapy sessions both one on one and group. There have been the myriad of medications which I believe have made some things worse. I have never discussed with anyone my desire to CTB, as I have said in previous posts, I don't trust the medical profession or anyone else and I don't want to end up in a psyche ward.

Do you get any exercise and what kind? How is your diet, do you get in any fruit and vegetables? Do you drink water every day and is it tap water? Or tap water in coffee or tea? I have a theory about tap water being bad, flouride possibly. I know ours has arsenic and lead in it. It makes my intestines ache.

When I was much younger. I hardly leave my room out of fear anymore (agoraphobia). Diet sucks, but I can't afford much. Minimal SNAP benefits, and live off handouts. So I take what I get to survive. They have filtered water, so I drink that sometimes.

I do feel like we're beginning to derail the thread though,, but would love to talk more if you are interested further. You can pm me or something.

I don't really have a mental illness per se.

But I have neurological deficiencies that are unrelated to my physical health, nutrition, or exercise.

I am basically mentally handicapped but not in the currently understood medical ways.

It's very subtle and understated but it's there at the most fundamental levelm

I've had a couple of official diagnoses over the years, mostly anxiety related ones. On one hand I find some of them helpful, as it allows me to understand why I do some things and relieves the guilt I have for it (particularly my OCD).

Though on the other the only label that really matters are what other people give me, regardless of their validity. Because that informs the way they interact with me. If the only thing normal people see is someone who's just 'off' or 'probably autistic or something', then putting scientific names to it means jack shit.
