It seems like TETS will not cause methmoglobainemia as it acts differently as a neurotoxin and convulsant. Cyanide acts in the opposite way to methmoglobainemia and in fact sodium nitrite can act as an antidote for cyanide poisonings.

Based on this article that it was methmoglobainemia, everything points to SN.

Agreed that it seems to be overly fast acting. 40 mins-4 hrs should be the length of time until death on average.

But if that blog is correct that it was methmoglobainemia, what else might have caused it?
