Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

It's like someone who's about to receive a lethal injection worrying about getting an infection from the needle.

I think I know which study this is, and the conclusion was that although it may be a very small risk factor for cancer, the link is extremely weak. In other words, it's absolutely nothing to worry about and should not be given any thought at all.

It's like all the literature that says how a cup of coffee can be good or bad for you, depending on what you read and what the day is like, i.e. it doesn't matter.

I relate to this so hard, knowing that I would just die naturally in a few years or less would probably give me the strength to actually enjoy my life until it fizzles out.

This is thread #14 with the similar subject.

nitrite + oxygene = nitrate > nitrosamine > cancer

It has been known for many years that nitrite in food also causes cancer. But the food industry ignores this fact. They want to preserve their food as long as possible to make a lot of profit.

So even if sodium nitrite turns into sodium nitrate rendering it ineffective in poisoning me, i can still end myself through terminal illness by intentionally taking in sodium nitrate?

No it's not that simple.

I suspect these sorts of questions on Google are more by people worrying about food additives.

But yes- SN is bound to carry risks if it fails. I can't think of a single method that doesn't carry risks. A gun can leave you alive with half your face missing, jumping can leave you paralysed, any method that restricts oxygen to the brain potentially carries the risk of brain damage if the attempt is interupted (including SN I imagine.) I agree- it's important to be aware of the risks of any method before deciding to do them but- sadly- very few (perhaps none) are risk free.

Whether you ever develop cancer from that food additives or from an SN attempt is simply like a gamble, some bodies develop cancer some bodies don't some people smoke cigarettes for 40 and more years and don't develop cancer while others do.
