I have read this: "Since your blood will mainly be MetHB, it will take on a bluish chocolate brown color, and the tips of your fingers, toes and nose (amongst others) will turn slightly blue from cyanosis. "

And I wonder if I fail this method, if these symptoms will be eventually reversed back to normal or will I have to live with brown face and blue fingers, toes and nose for the rest of my life?

If you fail the method it's probably because someone saved you and gave you the antidote, methyl blue. If that happens the majority of the cyanosis should resolve within hours. In my case my entire body was affected - don't have pictures unfortunately but I'm told I was blue all over - and within a couple of hours of receiving intravenous methyl blue along with oxygen I was mostly back to normal colour except for my feet which stayed a kind of ashen blue-grey colour that resolved over the next couple of days.
