I've recently received my SN from DMC to Victoria, Australia. Cleared customs with no issue. This was all recent (Received mine on 30th, September, 2024)

I haven't been searching Australia lately & haven't had the privacy to be here as much lately & hadn't seen another influx of Australian posts of people unsure if they can get in Australia.

I've answered your questions to the best of my ability across a few threads in the last few minutes. And answered your private convo too. I've posted about my experience with DMC extensively - they were helpful, it took way longer than I thought, blah blah. But I got it & tested it (not used it though, obvs ). I highly doubt the police or border forces will be involved, I make no guarantees. Maybe search me or Australia for more posts with detailed information. Regarding being sad about it, I'm not the person to help at all, unfortunately - I never encourage anyone to CTB & if there's hope for you, grab a hold of it, but my time is too limited to offer any more help to you. This is a beautiful community who will respect & support your choices - if you don't want your bus look at the recovery section or try to find people in similar situations. Mine took forever - forever in their country, forever in Sydney, forever to my state, forever at the local sorting facility. I can't remember how long, maybe 2 weeks total?? I really can't remember but I probably posted about it here somewhere. I was a nervous wreck. But it showed up & was fine. Best of luck to you.

My SN is on the way to the Sunshine State. If the cops arrive I have a fetish for ferments and decided to branch out into curing meat. If you checked out my kitchen that could almost seem plausible. Every attempt to get a good means of CTB is a gamble. Happy to take the gamble, and I think I will be a winner.

It was such an anxious wait, especially when it temporarily disappeared from tracking & when it sat at the local sorting facility - it was there so long. Or it just felt like it.

I was gonna go out with a painful method before because I thought Australia had restricted all painless ctb methods but apparently there was a way and now my SN should be shipping soon. Oh wow! Thank you. I've spent my time here on SaSu trying to neither encourage or discourage anyone, in any way, but if life / death is made easier for you by this thread, well that's just about all I could ask for . I started this thread because it's what I would've liked to have seen on my first day here.

Which method did you use to pay? I'm from NSW too, it's been a few days now and it's still saying "processing", no tracking number yet. No responses to my messages and emails as to when it will be shipped.

Thank you for preparing this. It's not of much use to me but I know it will help others. There have been a few misinformation and fear mongering surrounding sn, I don't understand why people even get out of their way to do that here but anyways such posts will help to straighten out those claims.

Did you use the "unique yet effective payment method"? If so, mine got deducted on the date I selected in the "booking calendar". Then I got an apple wallet tracking link that keeps me updated as to shipping.

Each step took a few days. It has then taken a week to be ready to leave country of origin after customs.

No I had trouble using that...the Airbnb option? For some reason, it kept asking me to confirm my number, then when I confirmed it, it said that my number is already verified. I gave up after a while and used Paysend.

Oh okay. Yes I used airbnb. But each step did take some time, so I would not get too worried yet. It all seems fine, just need patience and the main thing will be arrival here. But they only do random checks so

Yes you are right, I just need to be patient. I just wished I had a tracking number because the order has been "in process" for 5 days now and I don't know when it will be shipped.

Do you have any excuses ready if there is a random check? I'm just afraid of hospitalisation, that's all.

I used alternate payment method and texted the place, confirmed it was being shipped yesterday. But waiting for tracking number.

I got it shipped to an address I don't live at, with no connection to the place. I just know through chance where the packages get left etc. so I'm not particularly worried about hospital, I'm also homeless so I don't know how they'd find me anyway.

In terms of "excuses" you know what DMC advertise it for, so research that. You have a new hobby. People do not get hospitalised for learning a new skill. I would believe if you were scammed, then you didn't have the real source to begin with. If you're confident that you used the real DMC, I am confident that you've not been scammed. I contacted them via whatsapp - I don't know if you've tried that, but that's how I repeatedly had contact with them. If you have the Australia post app & login, it will show up at some point, as an unnamed package, that will track eventually. I very much understand your anxiety, I went through the exact same thing. But if you go back to my first post, this thread was set up for positive, constructive, success stories only, to empower other people in Australia & to combat all the negativity etc & to please post elsewhere if not appropriate to this thread. I've answered everything I can for you, across multiple threads & private convo's. Even when I don't have the time. Because I wanted to help you. So please help me now - please keep us updated on this thread if you have success & I have my fingers crossed for you. But I respectfully ask that any other posts, not related to success, be added to another thread please. That's not what this thread is for & I thank you for respecting that.

Not accurate for me, mine was estimated to arrive by end of Nov and is still in transit. Fingers crossed
