Sn failure

2days ago I drank 20g of sodium nitrite mixed with water, the taste was so awful I drank 1,5l of water with it. I remembered that I have 50mg of quetiapine, took it and fell asleep. Sadly I woke up after an hour and vomited, but mostly water. Slept again hoping I won't wake up this morning... I did. The worst day of my life. Out of desperation took about 20g of sodium nitrAte, didn't vomit just slept all day, and woke up with severe head pain. Now It's the second morning and I feel fine physically, just a little dizzy. What do I do now? I feel so hopeless.. How much time before blackout do you have in partial suspension method? How painful is it?

Sorry to hear it wasn't successful for you. Where did you get your SN from? Did you test it with your blood to see if it changed colour?

i think ur sn was not original. from where u bought it ?

Draw some blood and put some of the salt on it, if it changes colour.. to brown then it confirms that it's potent enough.

Also, your past posts talked about converting Nitrate to Nitrite using charcoal because you could not buy SN. Did you use the converted one, or were you able to buy SN after all?

" I understand that the product you used might have been sodium nitrate and that is why you might have failed. Were you not able to order SN online and follow the regimen with Anti Emetics?Maybe you should try and wait untill you can find better SN or another method. Take care

I may be wrong here but if you did use 20g but with 1.5l of water that would have diluted it so much that potentially it would take much longer to get absorbed j to body so when you was sick and said it was mostly water that water could have contained virtually all the SN you had put in it.Which would have made the chances of it working very low toalmost impossible I would say. Only way would have beenable to work would to have not been sick but even then the amount of time to digestsuch diluted amount the stomach acids and reactions might have negated any SN by the time it had passed the stomach.

Sorry things went so bad for you. Hopefully you take what I have said in the helpful spirit it was intented I have issues with emotions and empathy coming across due to Asperger's etc.

You should have tested the SN purity because if you take 20 grms and nothing happens, knowing what rate dose is 71mg/kg. A 65 kg person would needed 4,61 grms. I do not know your weight, but I am going to wonder you like a 100kg person, then 7,10 grms.

I do not know what quetapine is, but looks like or sounds heavy.

It is an important data to know the posology, although SN is not a medicine.

The quantity of the water, 1.5L, is enough to cause failure. The SN needs to be absorbed quickly not only to render the user unconscious quickly, it's also so the SN isn't converted to nitrate which doesn't help you.

As well, if your trying to make your own SN you need to check outs purity to determine how much you need to use. I'd venture a guess that the purity isn't the standard 95%.

Appreciate your explanation. That is so much weight, almost 20kgs.....I have hear talking about this kind of meds very bad.

I did know that, but if a person can gain 20 kgs taking it, make sense to use it as antiemetic

It kind of sounds like what you consumed was nitrate not nitrite. Nitrate won't kill you it will just make you feel quite uncomfortable. Are you having any respiratory issues? Are your hands and feet in general skin color slightly blue? If you are having continued oxygenation issues you probably need to consult medical help. If it was in fact nitrate you are likely fine.

Agreed. It seems inconceivable to me that a person can ingest 20g of SN and not wind up in the hospital. And this person consumed that amount twice, according to the post. Something wasn't right...either it wasn't SN, it was entirely inert due to some quality assurance issue...or just a very freak accident.

it also sounds like a bucket of water was consumed. Part of the reason we take a very minimal amount of water is to prevent dilution of the SN. Poor Op likely ended up with quite a hangover.

Yes, this would seriously, seriously suck. It's already hard for me to get up and get motivated to move in the morning. To do so after feeling like I've failed at my plan to CTB seems like the ultimate punch to the gut...and to top it off, you'd physically feel like shit. Yeah...that's not going to be a good day.

I think either it wasn't SN or you drank too much water.
