Discussion SN & Antipsychotics

Does anybody know if any past members used Antipsychotics in place of Meto? I know this has been discussed but not enough evidence. I looked up the drug interactions and it shows major red flag. I did order Meto. I was thinking of just doing stat dose 1 hour before SN. I can't fail I'm getting nervous want to make sure I do this correctly without major side effects. My SN is scheduled to be delivered next week.

I'm only on 25mg of quetiapine twice a day, can't stack it until I'm on leave from the psych ward or discharged (where I'll have enough tablets to last a week or getting prescriptions from my doctor ) but I think I remember that you're on 200mg daily which I'm assuming will work better than mine lol

But I'm hoping it'll be enough, the interactions between meto and quetiapine seem pretty bad (as do any of the side effects possible from meto).

I suppose it's hard to compile any real evidence on the whole vomiting thing. People who have supposedly passed from SN on this site may well have possibly thrown up after their last post on the website. Vomiting May occur after loss of consciousness. Especially considering that a few people who have reported vomiting still had success with SN

I guess in the arena of vomiting, there is something you can do to indicate how you fair without AE. Make a glass of very salty (normal table salt) water and take a few sips. It is not scientific or a guarantee of anything, but might help understand what your physical reaction could be.

Nobody comes to mind. But I do know of one person very recently who in private chat 'I stayed with'. They took no no regimen drugs and were successful.

Im pretty good at holding back any actual vomit when experiencing a gag reflex. I think the problem would be not the initial taste (as I've heard it doesn't taste as salty as normal table salt) but the body trying to expel the toxin after it realises what's going on. Unfortunately up until now I've never planned to or put anything in my body which shouldn't be there so I guess I'll see how I react on the day I take it

Both your points are really good. People often forget that there are two parts to why you might vomit. Your taste buds telling you brain that what is about to go down is horrible. Then the other is the stomach working to cleanse a toxin. Different people have different tolerances. This is the reason why this possible symptom is so hard to measure and resolve with any certainty.

I plan using Q. When I'll have my SN. I still have very few Q. left that i reserve for my plan.

My plan is :
-Not eat the day before.
-On the final day, taking tegamet and Q 30-45minutes before I take the SN edit : and probably a Gravol or 2.
-30 to 45 minutes later, drinking the mix of dmso/SN or just water with 20-25g of SN. Not sure yet of which method I'll use in that last part.

How long is your fast may I ask? Reason why is that I have seen a couple of members thinking that the regimen means 1 or 2 days of not eating.

Ohh I'll just go with one day only. Since I live with gf. I can't really hide the fact I don't eat for too long. I just want to go on an empty stomach and cross fingers it'll increase faster the effect of the SN once I drink it.

Just to let you know, the minimum time recommended is 8 hours only. Why make your last day really bad?

I don't know of anyone who has used their Q instead of Meto. I know I've said this to you before, but I wouldn't take Meto stat with Q still in your system. If you get a bad reaction you may have to abort and get medical attention

I'm in the same position. I'm swaying towards using Q as I do believe it has an AE effect on me. That's why I asked in the other thread if you'd ever been sick whilst taking it. I've had a few physical illness problems where vomiting is a common symptom and doctors are surprised to hear I haven't been sick at all.

I haven't vomiting in over 10 years. I've never been sick at all since I've been on Quetiapine. I guess I'll be the 1st attempt going this route. I plan to ctb Sunday night
FYI CBD oil also has antiemetic affect too
