I have just read a report based on suicides in Sweden, where it quotes there are a number of suicides by taking zopiclone by itself (a sleeping pill.) I thought sleeping pills were not fatal any more but it appears that they can be if taken in enough numbers

In 2015 I tried drinking and taking around 30 zoplicone and Aritvan. It didn't work…I woke up in the hospital. I had a couple of good years since then. But the pain is back and has been since covid. I want to try again - but know that zoplicone won't be enough. Maybe mixing it with clonaxapam? I have a bottle of that?

I was given zopiclone by my psychiatrist once and she made a point to tell me they are very hard to kill yourself with. Probably said that to discourage me from even trying.

What if you have 4,000 milligrams of Ambien sleeping medication and 500 milligrams of Clonazepam, which is a Barbiturate.

Anything in high enough dosage can kill you.
Zopiclone is related to benzodiazepines which are very safe.
Prescription drug ODs are terribly unreliable (less than 14% success).
Organ damage & further suffering is very possible as is mental disability.
Personally I wouldn't consider it.
The talk about people dying from it but not about how many attempted & failed.
