Should I make a will?

I'm trying to decide if i should make a will. My husband's name is already on everything along with mine with the exception of my car. Trying to get the rest of my affairs in order before I die.
Guess it depends on whether you have anyone else other than your husband you wish to bequeath to. I imagine, without a will, everything will go to him regardless as the next of kin. If you want to give things/ money to others, maybe you could leave him a note with your wishes. I guess the major issue is whether anyone is likely to come forward to try and claim- sorry- I don't know your family but it has happened in mine- even with there being a will! In which case- it might be advisable to avoid any unpleasantness. People change when money is involved sadly. Maybe do a few Google searches about leaving no will in your area. I expect the rules are slightly different everywhere- although I imagine in most places, the spouse inherits all (and children if there are any.)
At some point I heard that you should leave small amounts of money to anyone that might try to claim you "forgot" them in the will and try to claim that they were supposed to get something, but I don't really know. If it's important to you what happens with things, leave a note saying it's all 100% meant for your spouse and you havent promised anyone anything and etc. if it's not super important, then it's up to you to decide if it would help you/them or not..
