Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Should I lose my virginity and become a man before I die?

Yeah, I had no idea. To hire a prostitute I always thought you either found one around some place, met someone online, or went to a strip club and found the more risque people who were kinda just masking as strippers.
Being a virgin is one of the reasons I'm suicidal. I can't socialize because I have Body Dysmorphia and Social Anxiety so obviously no chance of getting a girlfriend. I can't hire a prostitute because I don't have a license and even if I did I wouldn't be confident enough especially because of self harm scars on my thigh..
FYI, you don't need a license, but you may need to prove you're at least 18, and, they get paid to not care about your scars, they get paid to make you feel confident. So does a sex therapist though, while maintaining boundaries of no touchy-feely stuff.
But I agree with what @Reallyreallyreally said earlier, it's demeaning to women to use them like that, even if you're paying. And I've also known sex workers who would disagree. But if it's not about mutual respect, it might not be a very satisfying experience.

For the record, I don't like the word prostitute either, I was looking for a better word and "sex worker" would be more appropriate, or "rented companion".

I have read a story of one prostitute who was hired only because... a person had nobody to talk to. He was a lonely man who did not have friends and family and had a lack of communication. So initially it had to be 2 hours, but he paid for the whole night. And they were just talking

Sex worker is the appropriate wording. I'm sure no one had bad intentions when saying it, but the word prostitute is considered a slur, so to anyone reading this please use sex worker instead. There are lots of people that have worked in the sex industry at some point in their lives, and definitely some are reading this thread, so it's important to talk about them as equals. And of course, I'm referring to consensual adult activity, not sex trafficking which is an entirely different issue.

It's not everything it's worked up to be, it'll be over before you know it and you'll be asking yourself is that it. You'll be let down by the expectation of how good people say it is

Thank you, I didn't know how to say that properly in English! Thought it is appropriate word. In my native language we say "escort workers" or "night butterflies". The second is not offensive though.
Thank you for saying this, we need to hear things like this to combat the negative stigma that is so common in society! Your grandma sounds like an awesome lady for her grandchild to be so proud of her to this day.
Sweetheart losing your virginity and having sex with a stranger isn't going to make you a man...............sex is very over rated. I can understand you wishing to experience it, but going out on such a whim may end up making you feel even worse. Sex is nothing but an act, its making love to someone that matters and that is special and worth waiting for. Shame society has got that sex is everything, when end the day, it isn't.

Indeed, I was looking for sex before too. But I treated it a little bit different. As for me, it was a state when two people are very close to each other and are as one. Not just on body level, but on soul level. Time passed, I understood that it is not as cool as it is shown everywhere. It means nothing for me anymore.

Night butterflies actually does sound like a nice term! In English, the word prostitute has a history of being used as an insult and often still is, so it brings a ton of negative associations with it. I try to respectfully inform people to use "sex worker", I don't judge people for not knowing because that's how we all learn.

It is true. Whenever i wanted to have sex with my ex boyfriend it was his warmth and the feeling that you are loved that made me wanted to have sex with him. The sex itself wasn't as good as i thought it would be.
I think it would make you feel dirty. I can't imagine anything less sexy than to have sex with a person who is literally only doing it for money and already had 100+ guys rolling over them in the past.

I used to have a friend who was (and probably is) a feminist. She told me many things that were obv interesting. Like there is no such a thing called virginity. Even girls cannot be virgins. And that there is nothing that can be "torn" during her first sex. And when my gf had first time with me, I followed the instructions of my friend and there was even no pain, no blood - nothing! That should be taught everywhere. Too personal, but I think worth to mention
I feel unwanted and not good enough because of my unattractive appearance. I think it's fair to say looks do matter these days unfortunately. I want to have sex not for pleasure but to feel wanted and worthy. Whenever I see couple's my age, condom adverts or anything sex related it triggers suicidal thoughts because it reminds me of how I'm unwanted.

There are actually sex workers who enjoy sexual variety so much that the money is a bonus, they would do it for free. I had a close friend suddenly become a part-time sex worker for that reason. So, your perceptions about sex workers would result in your feeling dirty, but it wouldn't necessarily be the OP's experience. He might feel a myriad of other ways about it.

Um.... I'm sorry to possibly burst your bubble, but I'm fairly certain that the "hymen" is a scientific and biological construct that does very much exist. The hymen can tear from methods such as deep masturbation or by riding horses for long enough or things that stimulate that sort of region enough to where tears can and do happen.

A woman's virginity is apart of patriarchal control. Meanwhile a male who is a virgin is stigmatized for not being a "man" because they were not sexually active when legally permitted to. These are rather archaic social notions that demoralize both genders. Social implications vary a bit but the effects still hurt people.
It is sort of interesting seeing how the word "virgin" has evolved. You really never seen usage of virgin (as a noun) in context of male figures. It only pertained to women. That perhaps could have been the perspective of your friend.

I thought for a moment that you may not have known what a hymen was, and that I was about to ruin your world lol... I felt so bad, but sometimes people gotta know because eventually you might have brought it up to someone who would have known lol! It's like that Frozen Movie meme. "I'm gonna tell him." "Don't you dare!" lol! Glad everything is okay <3
