Discussion Shave beard before ctb?

So I finally bought SN to day and this random question popped in my head. Of course this is only semi-serious.

People often shave their beards before going to a wedding or similar occasions. Since suicide is basically an invitation to your own funeral it would only make sense to do the same.

I am kind of an autist and I sometimes 'trim' my beard with scissors and because of that it look scuffed as hell. I also think my grandmother doesn't like it and I kinda like my grandmother so why not do her this favor. But since I never really shave completely I would look like I cared a lot which isn't really true (even though I am making this thread).

I have two questions for you:
A: Do you prefer the look with or without beards (especially to 'special' occasions)
B: Would you shave before cbting if you normally don't?

Surely it'd only really matter if you had an open topped casket. I suppose if you want to look your best for when you're found that makes sense.

I have a beard. It looks terrible, but I don't trim it. A neatly trimmed beard looks fine.

I'd consider shaving if it affected the practicalities of my method, like an airtight mask seal. Otherwise, I won't bother, but then again I'm a bit scruffy.

Yes I would shave before ctb but that is because I have a childhood complex kinda Peter Pan Syndrome so I think body hair from below the eye lashes are disgusting and to me I felt beards and moustaches belong on older adults like 40+ but that is probably because my dad always have had a moustache.

But yes I would definitely shave before especially because it´s nice to feel that baby soft skin like I am a child again and I also desperately hope when I ctb I wake up from this nightmare as a child again so I wanna look the part even though the only resemblance to child me would be no facial hair,

I will just because shaving properly is one of the few things left I enjoy and it always puts me in a better mood afterwards

Since I'm going with hanging I've purposefully let my beard grow out of control because it is a convenient way to cover up the rope marks from any potential failures. So no, I won't be shaving.

I would shave and definitely shower and clean up. I don't think it's fair for the authorities that come to collect a body that is unclean and disgusting

Big beard here. I won't shave my beard because it's part of me. But I understand why you would do that and I think it's a beautiful way to say to your grand mother that you care about her. I would do it for my father if he was alive, because he hated my beard.
