For something more somber/depressing, I recommend Radiohead's How To Disappear Completely or almost anything from Dodie's Build A Problem album (exception from the non-demo songs is Hate Myself, that one is more upbeat).
For something lighthearted, my go to is Tom Cardy's Ballad Of Smokin Joe, Soupy Garbage Juice's Swallowed Shampoo, or Tom Rosenthal's Watermelon.
