Saw a counselor today through my college

Didn't say anything about the suicidal ideation because I'm too nervous to tell anyone about that, but I told him about my fucked up home life, and he's going to help me figure out some more coping skills and setting boundaries. I cried a lot when telling him about my family, and now I'm exhausted, but it felt good to get all that off my chest and have someone actually listen. Idk how much this will help me, but I want to try at least, y'know?
