Hey guys,

I decided I'm gonna go with hanging because that's the most accessible method I have. I just wanted to know what type of rope should I buy? Like how thick, what material and also what type of knot I should use? Some people say hangman knot is the best but some say otherwise. I'm gonna buy the rope on Wednesday and idk what rope are available in the store I'm gonna go but I want an idea of what I have to buy.

So what would you recommend?

Avoid hangman, slip knot is better. The thicker the rope the less pain 10 mm or 12 mm is what I'm going with I tried thinner and it was just pure hell

Ok thanks! Do you think 10mm or 12 mm would be good for me? I'm around 50kg and 175cm.

That I can't answer. They say you need to make sure the rope can hold your weight like 10 times over, mine only holds it 2-3 times over I believe, I just tried both and thicker felt less pain but also didn't slide as easy. I am debating changing to a scarf as the more the surface area is dispossessed the less pain and I'm not having success with the rope to pass out anyway.
