I plan to CTB, I will put a belt between the door and the doorframe and kneel down. I'd like to know what is the success rate of this method, what can go wrong? I am 50 kg, so I don't think it will break, since I am going for partial, I will not be interrupted either...

I've read the megathread and I know famous people who used doorframes like Chester and Chris, I want to leave so bad

partial isn't the easiest to get right. SI is a factor too vs FSH. not trying to discourage or encourage, just voicing what i've seen others say and per my own experience trying partial.

I think SI is the biggest problem as well, but at least if I fail I won't get brain damage

that's valid. I definitely wasn't implying it's impossible. we have evidence otherwise. we're here with you.

If I didn't have such horrible SI, I would also CTB in this manner to emulate Chester (my hero). I have chosen full suspension for this reason if I end up following through.

Your method has been proven to work many times. I wish you luck, love and peace during your travel. And it's not a fail if you change your mind. It's not a race, and it means it just wasn't your time yet. We support you no matter the outcome. ❤️

i need to do a looooooooot of studying about hanging, before i would ever try that.
the whole science behind it.
how to tie the noose, simply just every-fucking-thing...

bc i heard it's easy to get wrong.
it has to be a certain type of rope too, and some say to lubricate the rope with soap.

i never knew his method was publicly revealed

Yes tmz released all the information, police documents and autopsy report if you're interested in looking into it. So very sad, breaks my heart. I hope his kids never look it up.

There's a lot of protocol on here regarding hanging, but honestly it's not that difficult. Anyone can do it, anywhere with any ligature. It's not nearly as hard as it's made out to be on this page. It's why it's so effective.

i know Chris Cornell did it successfully with a damn fitness band. did he even tie a noose with it?
and why was there blood on the floor?
yes, you mean these pics, right? https://www.tmz.com/2017/07/21/chester-bennington-suicide-hanging-linkin-park-chris-cornell/
and that famous CNN guy, i heard he did it with a bath robe belt.

and how does one tie a noose with a belt, isn't it difficult to get it right with a belt?

does it even need to be a noose?

i am extremely confused about it and the science behind it

Yes, it's confusing me as well.

I tried ligature strangulation, failed, and ordered SN a few days ago.
i see, yep very confusing.
how much research did you do before trying?
do you plan to drink it just water and SN?
or take something else also?
hope you won't need to do that tho, i hope it gets better

My attempt with ligature strangulation was attempted after reading this guide:

I plan on using Olanzapine as an AE when my SN arrives.

Exactly my point. There is no perfect way to successfully hang. Kate spade and L'wren Scott used a silk scarf around a door knob. If you want it bad enough, it happens.

I think a lot of failed attempts with partial hanging is because of SI, not not being unable to properly hang. As soon as things get a little uncomfortable, you stop. Dying isn't going to be comfortable. I'm sure if these attempts followed through, they'd be successful. Just my thoughts. I know not everyone will agree.
