Discussion Restrictions on the sale of carbon monoxide cylinders

I've read that laws regarding the sale of carbon monoxide cylinders vary greatly from country to country. In Europe, for example, a private individual can purchase carbon monoxide cylinders, but only for specific and regulated uses, such as industrial, scientific, or medical applications. Sales to private individuals are generally limited, but there are regulatory gaps that allow some transactions, though controlled. I was wondering, how is this regulated in your country? Is it easy to buy carbon monoxide cylinders or are there stricter restrictions? Let me know your thoughts and if you have any direct experience with this!

Bump this anyone re UK. My understanding to date is that its often mixed with 99% Nitrogen. Pure CO is more difficult to find and may be a Restricted Poison so difficult to obtain as an individual.

I've found this seller duomo.co.uk and I can't see any restrictions. The largest they do is 110L at 400ppm. 800ppm is fatal in minutes but it'd probably work. Might need several cylinders though.
