respiratory depression - is it loud?

Respiratory depression induced by opioid overdose - I've heard accounts that people were saved because they made loud wheezing/breathing noises when they OD'd. Seizures don't seem to be a major issue to solve, but does anyone have any info on the loud wheezing/breathing issue?

So respiratory depression is usually slower and shallower breathing rate so unlikely to be heard,however there is the potential to have what's known as agonal breathing, it's not effective respirations and is basically your bodies way of trying to overcome the respiratory depression and therefore you brain makes you take deep gasps of air, infrequently. It's a reflex and they can be anything from a small movement of your mouth to deep loud gasps.

i saw a video of pento iv death and it looks painful and has loud gasps of air , very uncomfy feeling
