Hi, I am planning on killing myself in 173 days, and am trying to get a plan that will work. I have a few ideas:

1. jump off a bridge and drown myself; the bridge is a toll bridge 59 feet above the water into a river. so it's not high enough to die from the fall, but I am not good at swimming at all and unless someone saves me, I'd probably drown in the river. Alternatively I can skip the bridge and just drown in a spot of the river in the woods. or there's a lake i could also drown myself in

2. hang myself from the 59 foot bridge. I can use a 50 foot rope, and after the tying that would probably be about 49 for drop hang. I heard that a drop hang this much would cause decapitation, is that true?

3. I also heard about the ternquette method and it seems easy, but im not sure how likely this is to succeed because it seems so simple.

4. I can partial hang myself from somewhere, don't know where though.

5. I could hang myself from a tree, but I dont know how I would tie the rope to the tree. would i need to climb it? I dont know how to climb a tree and am weak.

Which do you think will work the best? I have lots of time, but I want to make sure it succeeds.

I would recommend looking into carbon monoxide poisoning, there's minimal pain if done correctly.

I dont think I'd have access to gass. I need something nonconspicus

You can just buy charcoal and burn it in an enclosed space, like a house. If you don't have a house or apartment you can rent one via Airbnb. Or you could use a tent. Charcoal isn't expensive.

do you know much about it? do you know at which point the BBQ grill should be brought inside the house or inside the tent?
i heard after the briqeuttes have turned white, but im not sure

You can start burning the charcoal indoors and just wait over time and you don't even have to use a grill. You can use a chimney starter or durable pans like cast iron skillets. For a tent idk that much about it. But it sounds like it could be a fire hazard to me. But people have done it before.

Very small risk in hurting someone else. There is are a few threads on gas, look it up in search bar
My plan is I own a car, so I'm gonna drive it over a ledge into 20ft of water. When the water hits panic as much as possible and breath in water as soon as I can.

I think im leaning between drowning in a river or hanging myself in the forest. which do you think is better?

I think hanging would be more reliable.if the water you jump into is cold, you could live for a very long time and could be rescued.

Ok, do you think hanging from the toll bridge would work? I could have a 50 foot drop. judicial hangings usually do 8 feet drop hang. it might be easier since i don't know how to climb a tree

Generally suicidal hangings are not the long drop kind.

If you tried to drop 50 feet, you would need the kind of rope rock climbers use. Most would break. My guess is that you would slip out of the noose, but I dunno.

Ok, then ill learn how to climb a tree. or find one that's easy to get high enough or something

that seems painful (and not guaranteed too, SI could cause escape)
