Regrets and doubts about ctb

Hi everyone!
I want ctb in September/october but i still have doubts and regrets for those who survive, especially for my friends who have stood by me in the moment of pain. It's the only reason why i'm delaying ctb. Do you feel regrets or are the physical/emotional pain/failures so significant that they are superior to any regrets for those who survive?
