• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I remember when I was still growing up I thought that recoiling from the world as a coping strategy was the greatest evil and the saddest failure for a human being. But that is what I was pushed toward due to a combination of genes and environment (mostly just bad parents) and that is exactly the tragic outcome I have been "living" for years. For my entire adult life actually.

Is having to withdraw instead of confronting reality and seeking truth the most pathetic form of existence for a human? I think it is. Everyone has to collude with certain lies to manage so I guess it's also a question of degree but having to do it even just a little bit is already sad. I'm sure some people never have to.

I've lived a fairly reclusive life now for the past four months. Honestly, I think it's for the best for everyone, myself included. And at least when I do CTB nobody will check up on me for quite some time before they realise something might be up.

Is it so bad if you feel like you can't change things? (Substantially anyway.) I suppose then- it depends on whether you think an individual can effect much change.
