Purchasing from DSL

I found DSL a while ago and want to make a purchase while I am able. I noticed that the site now has a direct payment button that lets me use google pay, along with a separate option for shipping insurance. Has anyone purchased from them using this method? Is using shipping insurance recommended?

Although, I'm not in the US. Most people here pay through Amazon gift cards, apparently in the detail part you add what you want and how much and then you sent it to him via WhatsApp, that's what the other forums mentioned.

Just a fair warning, your bank may block the transaction because it's deemed suspicious. If you don't mind calling your bank and sorting it out, then I would say go ahead with google pay. If you don't want that hassle, you can use the Amazon gift card option. I'm also in the U.S and this is the route I went. I ordered last month and back then, there wasn't a 'shipping protection' option but rather 'express shipping' listed for the same amount (about $37) Maybe the new change is because of all the welfare checks going on in other countries after ordering from DSL?

just been to this page again... damn it..now there is a new method:( I hate that I pay with some of the other..it worked but hate it... I'm not used to what you asked. but wouldn't the first option he mentioned, be something good ? most people have it, i think.

I am in the US.

The less connections the authorities can make between you and the SN shipment the better.
Google pay / credit cards as well as shipping insurance will leave more and clearer traces leading back to you.
If the shipment would somehow end up being seized, it would be near impossible to deny you ordered it yourself.

Use crypto (preferably XMR) whenever dealing with such purchases, and please use a VPN if you want to check up on your shipment tracking.
Don't give authorities any reason to look into and question you more.

While purchasing SN isn't necessarily illegal, i am sure you still wouldn't want your mental state to be doubted, possibly leading to forced mental health assessments and/or forced treatment.
