Maybe, psychiatrists have a time-machine in his office. Because they might diagnose you even if you are death. In other words, Psychiatrist diagnosis are popular for being more inaccurate than physical diagnosis (Usually because they don't have empirical evidence of your behavior when you are death). Then to solve the inaccurate issue at post-mortem diagnosis, they discovery the time machine to diagnose for given a example the bipolar disorder of Beethoven or the Asperger syndrome of Newton. Therefore if you prove the accuracy of post-mortem psychiatrist diagnosis you practically proven as well that the time-machine exist!

Uh... half of what you are saying makes sense... I fully agree with you that 99% of diagnosis is bullshit. If a doctor says you have something don't believe them they are just trying to put you down.

That is true that they are medical terms that encapsulate patterns of behaviours however.... I think sometimes they attach diagnosis on to people when really the person is just going through something else....

1 example is this 19 year old kid i met in a physc ward he had been smoking meth out of a light bulb for past years and homeless..

obviously he is talking about wierd stuff like the devil or other nonsense. Doctors diagnoses him with schizophrenia. He was still smoking marijuana.

He would tell people " yup i have schizophrenia and all this stuff." I mean he was acting pretty mental like he could not really control his ramblings however i just saw it as this kid never was raised properly or shown what he is doing or saying is not proper.


To me it was that he did not have schizophrenia at all because he was not born like that. It was because he was smoking meth and homeless that he is acting improperly.

With the right guidance and teaching he could have been made into a perfectly capable human being. I don't know where he is at now.

However I hear of lots of people being labeled things like autistic when really they are just suffering from not being raised or guided properly. i mean everyones situation is different some people do have a distinct condition however i really believe lots of people have nothing wrong with them if they just were given the right help and shown and taught the right way.

Therefore is impossible to make a "medical diagnosis" in psychiatry with an encapsulate patterns of behavior because you are being diagnosed from what are you "doing" (For given an example "hearing voices" is what schizophrenic person does) rather than from what you "have" (Like having symptoms of cough, if you have a common cold).
In conclusion, you are not diagnosing anything as real as a physical disease because is pure Insubstantial behavior even more if you are death.

drug addiction and mental health are complicated topics, sometimes drugs cause mental health problems other times drugs are used to get relief from mental health problems. Just stopping drugs wouldn't suddenly make his life perfect.

What I am going through in my life does not justify my incessant suicidal desires and ideations, yet I am constantly going through low moods and lack of motivation. In my case, I have indeed a illness that is not a result of my environment, but rather a malfunction of my own system. Just because psychiatry did not work with you, doesn't mean it doesn't work for everyone, and I say that as someone who's highly skeptical of such pseudoscience.

I stopped all drugs and alcahol just over 2 months ago. I have felt best I have ever felt. I am reading lots. Books and internet. I also getting into stretching and yoga. I am going to be sober for the rest of my life. I recommend sobriety to everyone. It may be difficult at first and for a while however that is just because your mind is learning how to get over what ever your problems you have. Eventually if you struggle and bare through it you will be much stronger later in time. You will feel better.

Amen clinics has a brain scan which is kinda of like an fmri that will give u an accurate diagnosis. Whats even crazier is insurance doesnt cover them, why is that? Because they actually dont bullshit and guess, unlike general doctors that accept insurance.
