Psychedelics to soothe in the weeks before CTB

I'm planning on CTBing in the coming weeks - I've been planning since mid this year and have all my affairs in order. I can verifying and confirming things on my end for my comfort and peace beforehand.

I've been doing heavy research on methods and my own and have spent many nights on this site reviewing information that will help me through this process.

Something that helped me get through overwhelming exhaustion and depression were shrooms I got from a mutual in the past, the experiences I had on my own were profound and and relief to exhaustion I didn't understand before and I could rest easy and feel safe. I also experienced this a year prior on LSD.

I want to try acquiring psychedelics of some kind again to feel some peace during these weeks because I have been so enormously exhausted and it feels like I no longer can rest well through the nights. I am on no medication and have essentially totally isolated at home - no mode of transportation outside of uber, but I don't have anything I need or want to do.

I wanted to ask for advice for someone in a situation like mine, how does anyone go about figuring out where to get things like this safely? I am out of the workforce due to physical medical conditions, and essentially hermited away so I don't know anybody to ask. If it ends up being too risky or not possible, I will get by regardless. Any suggestions or recommendations on what to try are appreciated. :)

I dunno anything about the US but afaik DNMs are a source for psychedelics. Psychedelics are illegal in most places/countries on earth - unfortunately.

I did my undergraduate thesis on psychedelic assisted therapy and have a pretty thorough background in psychedelic medicine, psychopharmacology, and some theoretical knowledge of psychology & therapy.

If there's any specific questions or ways I can help you explore this let me know.

As I'm sure you know, psychedelics often produce mystical experiences, which can be very helpful for end of life anxiety and the psycho spiritual response/preparation for dying. I think it's a worthwhile pursuit if you've thoroughly deliberated the decision to die, explored alternatives (lifestyle changes, medical treatment, etc.), have the necessary social supports to help ease yourself through it, etc.

In fact, I might recommend exploring MAID alongside psychedelic assisted therapy for end of life distress. If either of these are available in your jurisdiction.

Shrooms are legal in DC now. It's similar to weed where it's a gifting culture so you're paying for artwork and get free shrooms on the side. I recommend Wellshroomness but there's a few other places too.
