just want to put it out there that without benzos or something to keep you relaxed / knock you out, amitriptyline alone might be a very frightening and painful method.

But isnt amitriptyline also a sedative? i mean one 25mg was enough to keep me heavily drowsy for like 7 hrs. And ig in some cases benzos are used anti to this OD.. idk I've read it somewhere.

It has sedative effects but you are more likely to be awake when shit hits the fan so feel everything happening, than using the recommended benzos to knock you out cold
