I smile throughout the day
From the light I bathed, thrusted into darkness
A haze
I try to escape
Curled up warm and safe
What did I say?
Escape?
I'm here to stay all day while it rains
Sometimes crying others laughing but always the same
From sad to happy
Lines blurred where one ends and the other begins
I keep asking why but i know why
It's safe right here, it's warm right here..
Why would I ever want to leave?
In the distance I can see something
I don't want to be happy
I look around and see
A rainbow
I didn't want to be happy, but I'm glad the storm has past.
