Venting Please help me

My apologies! I realise now that my words could be interpreted as criticism of you. I assure you that it wasn't directed at you. I mean you and I and everyone else. If I were to criticize someone, I'd try to be as straight-forward as possible.

No worries! It would be helpful, though, to say what behaviors prompted a gentle suggestion to be or to do better. Otherwise it feels like an admonishment with no clear cause. Are you admonishing yourself as well? But why??

Well, why wouldn't I? We could all be more empathetic. It's all too easy to be self-obsessed with one's own suffering and forget that there are other people who suffer too. I'm definitely guilty of that.

Guys okay, I think most y'all didn't understood what I'm trying to interpret. I'm not like this because of I'm going through a bad breakup. I used to get moody for like a day or two then days turned into months. I honestly can't remember the time I was genuinely happy about anything. I'm so sick of trying to find happiness. That's why I took this decision. Whether it is hanging myself or some other way. I've made peace with it. I just want to CTB without any pain mainly because I've been in pain all my life. I just want to go peacefully. I don't know if it makes sense or not

Im 50. And please dont take my message as preachy, and also please dont think I dont hear your pain, bc i do. But Id never forgive myself if I did not speak up. I must tell you, 99% of my happiness has occurred after 23 yrs old. When you are young, this is your greatest time and opportunity for change and growth. Ive lived it. Ive seen it. You dont FEEL it while youre young and IN it. Its something you look back at when youre my age, wishing you knew then what you know now, as the cliche goes. Everything is raw and amplified when youre young. Its not until youre my age that you realize and see the utter irony and beauty in that.
The alcohol and drugs are self medication. Which is perfectly natural and healthy in fact to seek relief from pain. However, theyre depressants and or other things messing with your internal chemistry. Even when not drunk or high youre affected by substances bc its not like they just vanish from your system and voila youre pure and balanced bc you came down.
These things affect your internal balance and ultimately your perspective, and this applies to all ages. Please listen to an old lady LOL when I say, please get clean for at LEAST a couple/few months before you make your final decision. You really have no idea what may happen in your young life that brings you joy, when your chemistry is more balanced and you have a change in perspective. I give you these words of wisdom LOL bc I have to have learned SOMETHING in all these years :)

Okay thank you for sharing your story :) but I made this decision when I was completely sober. The reason why I drink smoke or do drugs is that it helps me sleep. It helps me not to have nightmares I know it doesn't make sense but yeah. I've thought about this for a long time. I think about this on a daily basis. Trying to find options where I'll be alive but yeah
