Phenergen codeine, diazepam, alcohol?

Hi there
I have 900mg of codeine (195 is panadeine)
2500mg phenergan
250mg of diazepam (can get a load more)
And alcohol
Would this potentially do the trick? What do I need to think about?

Thanks, that's a lot of info. I figure they are all CNS depressants and the Diaz will control any convulsions and react with the codeine and then phenergen is anti-enmetic for the codeine also
Oh and I plan to do it in another bedroom in my house so hopefully the Diaz keeps the delerium from the phenergen at bay

I don't think trying to OD on these is a good idea, the likelihood is that you will end up in a hospital bed feeling very rough. I believe the phenegen you are referring to is Promethazine Hydrochloride. It's basically an antihistamine that can potentially cause hallucinations in high quantities and you have no idea how that can effect your behaviour particularly if you are in a distressed state. I wouldn't recommend this course of action. Do you want to chat or vent on here about what's brought you to this point? It's completely up to you but there are lots of people here who will listen and won't be judgemental. Just a thought :-)

Not a good idea unless you fancy a stay somewhere.

As above Phenergan is just an old anti histamine & as such will have nasty side effects above any recommended dose that will not be controlled by the diax well enough before any of it knocks you out, also the codeine especially the shit mixed with the panadeine tablets, paracetamol I believe will have you chugging over a toilet before you can get what is a hell of a lot of pills down your neck.

Please instead spend some time reading through the Wiki & mega treads & condensed versions to find a better way if you wish to pop off this planet, or just have a chat in off topic to see where you really are (With no offence intended in anything I have written)

Thanks guys my Mum recently committed suicide using promethazine and alcohol from what her bloods in ICU told us but we don't know what else she took so I thought that would be a good starting point. She was on her own so goodness knows what she went through.
I've got a severe anxiety disorder that's not responding to treatment and leaves me crippled all day and hating life and I don't want to live like this anymore.

I tried a while ago throwing myself in front of a car on the motorway when I was in extreme anxiety but somehow survived with just a 6 week stay in hospital and a few sensation issues from a couple of brain bleeds

What about I got some metacloprimide or quitiapine (which I have here), which ive seen someone say works to stop vomiting because it works on your dopamone receptors, and ditched the promethazine? Potentially doing it at night in the water so when I go unconscious I'd drown...

I am very sorry to hear about your Mum, but like you said she could & most likely did take other drugs as well & as your not going to know trying to recreate the effects will be near on impossible & result in you spending many days trying to convince the Nutty police that you weren't trying to off yourself, plus god knows what unintended side effects.

Have you got anyone, other than here, as in the dreaded professionals to talk too?
I can understand you are desperate, but sometimes that is the worst time to be trying these things, mistakes are easy but can cost you a lot depending on where you are in the world be that financially or medically/psychiatry related, so as much as you need to be trying these things, its really not the best time for you.
Have you spoken to anyone about your Mum's death, either MH professionals or grief counselling?

Maybe you could try writing here about your Mum, just to give you a chance to get other peoples take on what went on, where you may go from here, sorry just trying to help in all possible ways.

Sorry you're having to deal with all of this. As a few folks have said, lots of good resources here. Some ways much less complicated than a multiple CNS depressant od. Hope things get simpler for you.

Yea I don't want to make any mistakes, the last place I want to end up is in the psych ward again, or with brain damage. I just wish their was an easy way to take pills and go in your sleep .

Heya, I'm not desperate, I'm on a high dose of diazepam im on to stop me panicking and doing something stupid, like throwing myself infront of a car, but it makes me drowsy all day. Iv seen a number of professionals, nothing seems to help. Mum just happened to happen in the middle of all this. Good idea to post about her and seeing what went on.

You may never know quite what your Mum took as it will depend on when they took the bloody to test, opiates for instance can be clear after 24hrs & even if you did find the 'magic' formula as such you are different people so will react differently depending on difference in age, general health etc.

Im glad to hear you have the mellow yellow pills at least to help, sometimes the most annoying thing allowing enough time to pass without doing yourself any more harm along the way.

You said the codeine is Panadeine. I would not use that because if you fail you could have severe liver damage. You could die of liver failure but that is a slow and painful process.

She was found within 6 or so hours and they were able to get a heartbeat but she was brain dead so they should be able to find out but it'll be a long time away. And she was a nurse so would know what to do. I just hope that it was as peaceful as it looked for her as everyone says that promethazine makes you go crazy but Medsafe says that's less so in adults.
