Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I wanted to write something unique for each person I think will be affected by my passing. Is this a good idea? I think it might give more closure to people if I write something to each of them directly but I'm worried if I forget anybody they'd be completely crushed. Is this something other people do or is it generally like a one size fits all goodbye note?

It's a good idea. Do your best to include everyone you think is fit. Consider all your options as well before CTB. Forgetting to include someone is not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

I like your idea, I want to do the same if I can get into the right mindset to write them the way I want to.

You could always have generic letters / templates and just add peoples name to it to make it more personal for those who don't have a customized one. If they are made to be personal, most people won't be comparing notes.

it's a good idea, especially if you have people you care deeply about. It might help ease some of the emotions they feel with your passing. Of course, for whatever it's worth, I do hope you never actually CTB and you can find some semblance of happiness.

That's a good point lol, I can't imagine everyone I wrote one too suddenly going hey can we compare?
Wish you luck writing your own.

I guess you're right. I'll do my best to write for everyone I care about and if they weren't in my final thoughts maybe it's not the biggest deal in the world they didn't get one in the grand scheme of it all.

Unfortunately I'm pretty dead set (lol) on my decision, just wrapping up some final things at this point. But thanks for your well wishes.

I believe that it depends on the individual what is the best thing to do but I do think that the personalized goodbye notes are a good idea because as you said, they can act as a form of closure for those left behind and it might give them some understanding. I think that some people would rather write one general goodbye note, that is what I would do but it just depends on the person's situation and who they are writing to.
