i gotta ctb already. but i failed my 2 hanging attempts which led me extremely traumatized. SN and Fent is reallyy hard to get so i might attempt hanging again despite how traumatic. wish i had a gun, one pull then pain next is eternal sleep. would've been nice.

The main issue with guns is that about 20% of people survive, and often they surviv with terrible damage. I think that any method that works using inesrt gases is the most peaceful and easiest way to just slip away.

I doubt very much that suicide rates are much higher with guns than without. In most of the world, you could get a gun if you really wanted one, or travel cheaply to somewhere that does.

The issue is the SI, rather than any particular method. Most humans know a rope is almost 99% sure to kill anyone, but we dont just getup and CTB. Its the SI thats the blocker, not the method.

The gun method scares me personally as I've heard of people failing with it after messing up their attempt, but still those who have it as an option are fortunate as that method is lethal if done correctly. It does sound like a brutal way to leave this world so to me it could never sound as ideal as a reliable poison method in particular N. I so envy those who are able to voluntarily free themselves from this world in such a peaceful way.

But it sounds so horrible to me failing those hanging attempts, it's incredibly unfair how it's so difficult to finally leave this hellish world, I very much hate this society that does everything to restrict suicide method options and is so focused on prolonging suffering.

I have also have had a failed hanging attempt and yeah it really sucks. I hope the people who died had the arteries blocked rather the oxygen. My failed attempt was full and I didn't blackout just a lot of pain and I couldn't breathe . The rope broke after a minute or two but I was completely fully aware and awake. I wonder the amount of people who just a very strong rope and they could not escape. My dream way is a gun but I don't have enough money of my own right now. I think the people who failed the gun maybe didn't practice at a gun range. Not at all placing blame on them it really shouldn't be this hard to end suffering.

A box of 12 gauge buckshot is only about 10$ and you can make a "shotgun" to fire it with some pipes from home depot for about $20
