Hi all!
Long time lurker, first time poster here. In my research on the night night method and partial hanging I found that I'm most comfortable with these methods. I made several attempts to ctb in the last few months but didn't succeed. I am able to locate the carotid arteries and when I started testing I felt the first symptoms of fading away, but I never fainted.
One of the symptoms of my depression are nausea, random gagging and the feeling of my throat being closed of. During my first attempt (night night with a ratchet) my SI kicked because I started throwing up (while laying down) I and I knew that if I continued I would likely suffocate on my own vomit. That didn't sound very appealing to me and I quit. During the attempts after that with both methods I kept vomiting and now my body reacts even more strongly to any touch around my throat (couldn't wear a scarf this winter).
During my latest attempts I couldn't even feel the fading/dizziness anymore and I felt like my muscles were covering my arteries. However big or small I made my padding using different materials and levels of firmness, at one point during tightening the strap it always touches my throat (very lightly) and I throw up. Did anyone else experience this? How could I try to fix it?
Even though I'm discouraged i still feel the constant need to ctb ASAP and the thought of waiting a medically assisted death (im at the start of that proces) to start feels endless and I rather remain in control. Any advice is more than welcome.
Thanks for reading my post, sorry if it's a bit long
