Man my life's gotten pathetic. It's impossible for me to experience joy in any situation. I'm a leech and have a constant void in my heart. But I really really really like RuneScape! I think I've put more effort into my rs account then anything else in my life ever. It's just kinda sad lol

I feel you. That void sucks and drains you out of every bit of joy. I spent like 500+ hours or smth in fallout shelter just playing dolls with the dwellers and making up stories. It may sound sad yeah but I'd just cling to whatever joy I can squeeze out of what otherwise is just misery. Waiting for Tears of the Kingdom also kept me going for like over a year, pretty much single handedly. If videogames can do that then fuck it I take it. I'm sure your runescape account is neat and worth it if it brings you any joy.

I had a coworker that borrowed my copy of totk, me and my family had to emergency move and I never got my game back lmaoooo I miss that game

I relate, I play cs2 everyday lol Im not like a loser well maybe I am but I still take care of myself im not on it 24/7 but I have gotten addicted to it. I feel the need to play it to feel a bit better. Sometimes u meet actual losers who are racist and homophobic 24/7 on the game and it makes u feel shit but sometimes u meet like those old fathers that are just chilling and talking to u and dudes who play without taking it seriously. Im horrible at the game but either ways I got no other game to play. I also managed to gamble 90 bucks and lost it all. This was a bit before I ever wanted to seriously die so I regret it I couldve used the money in a better way.

it's really nice that you have something that brings you joy and i hope it will continue to be a source of joy for you. this world is horrible and filled with so much suffering. simply existing is a chore; so, it's valid to cherish any little thing that makes existing more tolerable. i don't think it's fair for you to call yourself/your life pathetic because you find joy in something like a video game—it was created to be an escape.
