Yes, it is very easy to make some charcoal on your own. Take a huge pot (5L), fill it with 4 L of cooking oil, then grab another pot (small one, 3 L is enough). Now start heating the oil until it is getting very hot! Voila, now grab the small pot and fill it with water. After that drop all the water in the oil and wait 40 minutes till all the wooden furniture in your kitchen becomes a charcoal! Finita la comedia. Btw attaching tutorial.

Thanks for the quick response. Should I take the meto before or after destroying my kitchen? (Sorry if this question has been asked before.)

Well shit. I followed the protocol wrong. I'll have to start fresh tomorrow, and the artichokes are already turning, hence the rush. Seems like I just can't do anything right.

I'm in a very infected area, and I'm told from the doctors I'm very likely to not get through it health wise...

Just gets me thinking about who to go visit that's being quarantined...

I'm not really taking any precautions more than usual *shrug*
Yeah, you might die. You might instead have a terribly painful experience and live from it. Let's say you do die, you really want to die a slow painful, pneumonia like death though?
