Venting no thoughts at all,, brain doesn't work wahhhh

hai guyz welcome back to my channel im repeating what i said last time but like not in 1 thousand words see.

ok hi so my brain like doens't work it really really impairs me in social situations all the time!! it's so bad.. i seriously never have *anything* to say in converstation with anyone everrr,, a converstation will go 100% silent and ill think the entire time of anything to say but there's really nothing!!

I know that some people feel like what they want to say isn't important enough or whatever but for mee it's like i can't think of what i want to say at all..

but that's so bad i don't like it because i really would like to be awesome and have friends but nono... no words.. I can seriously only properly talk when im like talking about myself and being emo on the itnernet but that's all i got
is this like perpetual 8 year long brain fog or what hashtag let me out of here

Yeah, conversations can be really hard. Do you know what you're actually feeling during those moments of silence? Are you just anxiously trying to think or topics or is it literally just nothing.
I sometimes find myself spiraling in an anxious state trying to think of something to talk about with people, which just in turn makes me think they hate me rather than actually coming up with a conversation topic.
Can you bring up something you're really into? A show, game, or whatever you find interesting? I know personally I love when people are able to just infodump about something they're really passionate about, maybe you can give that a shot?

idk because I'm 18 will tell you once I get there

but honestly I don't think so. I have felt totally, physically unable to speak or act in front of other people before and it's horrible. also incredibly isolating to think no one else around me understands me because they don't feel the same. I was crying about this like....yesterday lol

the feeling never disappeared, I just got better at dealing with it, but I don't think I will ever feel like a whole human in that aspect

You're right, I probably am in the minority that way, but I don't think it's that rare to find someone who does enjoy listening. I've also got autism, I find talking with other autistic people in person is usually a lot easier and less stressful than neurotypical people.
Hope you can find someone like that in your life, so you won't feel that pressure in conversations <3

It's generally better to say something important than feeling important to say something.

It's okay if you don't have anything to say, you can always sit back and listen.

If it's not interesting/important enough, you don't even need to participate in it.

I think comparisons can help build relatability.

Like if it's about a topic that you're experienced in, you can always give your own take related to it.

As an example, most if not all of my IRL friends don't play PC games and only play mobile games so I never engage in that kind of activity but if it's about dating then I'd stay only for the funny part.

Relationship is a both way track, it's not enough if you please others but you also need to be pleased by other's as well :)
