No importance in life. I can't see life valuable. I only see life valuable in pleasures like eating and binging internet. I can't see the point in suffering. I feel like I don't know what to do. I want to die. But my parents are home.

Yeah, it really is a pointless endeavour.
Life can have meaning if it can have perspective, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant that might be.
But it's exactly that perspective that's missing at the moment.
Society has morphed into this grotesque treadmill.
Remember when the Matrix movie came out and the concept of "the human battery" was seen as science fiction?
Well, by all intents and purposes, we got there. just without the fun simulation attached to it,

You exist to make the fat cats even fatter and don't you dare not being useful to the machine!
The only chance for life to gain meaning again is for it to have perspectives. And for that perspective, the fat cats need to go... one way or another...

Veey intresting society gives it thr table "nihilism" whem life literry is pointless without any sense or objective. The correct termn for nihilism should be life- in a society that didn't operate on newspeak type of talk.

From the cosmic perspective/view, or in the cosmic time & space, we're all just mere speck of dust. So, everything we do is meaningless, objectively speaking.

The human battery concept was always a metaphor for industrial society. The Wachowskis wrote it in 1999 because it was relevant in 1999, and for about 200 years before that too.

Some of you people seem to think the world has fallen apart in the last 5 years.

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

life is meaningless and pointless anyway.

what will matter in 130 years? 1000 years ? 1 trillion years ? Nothing

to me the constant worst pain or the most horrible things that can happen outweigh the stupid meaningless fleeting pleasures like video watching or eating food by a billion times

these pleasure addictions are meaningless and very fleeting anyway. but that i'm risking extreme torture or pain that outweighs that garbage by a billion times makes them destructive and have even less meaning.

so to me the only things that matter are avoiding unbearable pain and my suicide asap. but these matter to me only because i'm alive and this horror was imposed on me. after Death nothing can matter because i won't exist forever. and we all will die soon cause how fast did the last 5 years pass by?

there is no point to anything only that evolution and culture society installed all these needs .

for example a human or other animal is born with a lot of needs that they need to constantly work to keep from suffering excruciating constant pain.

3 examples . hunger for food, thirst for water, shelter from cold.

i was out in the cold wind for a few seconds this past winter. i couldn't bear the cold wind even another second and had to get into the car. i couldn't imagine having to suffer that pain a few more seconds or even worse minutes or hours in that cold . it wasn't even that cold but it was unbearable to me . and i'm not some freak that can feel pain more as i saw young healthy humans also running to their car. again it wasn't even that cold.

evolution made pain unbearable more and more every few generations. the humans or animals that couldn't bear the cold or thirst or hunger worked every second to move away from that pain . the animals who didn't died and didn't pass on their genes. so evolution created a worse torture chamber every few generations the brain and human brain.

if a human or animal can't find food and water the thirst and starvation pain will be constant and unbearable . before technology houses with running water etc a human was like another animal and had to constantly work to find food and clean water. most of the time humans and animals were hungry thirsty cold with only temporary relief. civilization and tech have shielded most humans from this but if they become homeless then they'll loose the access to food shelter and water

Well, excuse some folks not having been around for the past 200 years and focusing in the decline experienced within their own lifetime, which has undeniably gotten disproportionately worse over the last decade,
So yes, some people do think the world has fallen apart in recent decades, because it has been the same recent decades they, themselves, have been suffering from it first hand.

There is a stark difference between "Things have always been shit" and living in a world where it demonstrably doesn't need to be shit, but it still is because a handful of people have taken the world hostage and refuse to let it evolve.

life literally has no purpose, and nothing we do (except i guess jeff bezos or elon musk who are both horrible people) impact the world, or maybe even the community around us.
