For the first time in 20 years I felt some control over my life and a little peace. I paid $1000 for 200ml. In July 2022, on the hottest day ever recorded in the UK, I had the police barge into my home and immediately arrest me and search my flat and seized both bottles, which were in the fridge. I was arrested in front of my neigbhbours. I spent the day/night at the station explaining I was suicidal. My family and friends know. I don't care too much as Im very numb. I almost got a criminal record for it.

I'm sorry for the pain that you endured that day. We really live in a world full of disgusting pro suffering humans. It's just so absurd and sickening. They would rather have us suffer and die horrifically than have us die peacefully

That's very lucky. Did you lie to him about its purpose? Propably not possible for him to not know its purpose,. I always fantasised about what I would say if I met a vet at a bar a something and offering them money for barbiturates, of course they would immediately know. who wants to put down their dog themselves?

It's very true that all adults should have this right. At the very least we should have the same rights as our pets currently do. The vast majority of human beings will end up suffering for years in a nursing home, and this is completely unacceptable.

The things that make nembutal good for suicide also make it good for murder, so just having it available over the counter is a bad idea.

The only time the public should be able to get their hands on it is when they have requested voluntary euthanasia and are literally about to do it. If they abort the attempt (fine) it should be taken from them. It should however be fairly straightforward to get approved for voluntary euthanasia, with a short cooling-off period to prevent impulsive suicides among people experiencing a temporary crisis.
