Need advice for ligature placement, etc for partial CTB

Will CTB with nylon dock line or belt. Partial over door.

Can someone explain exactly how to place the ligature? I know to use a slipknot and that goes in the back, but if anyone can give details about placement of ligature or help in some way, you'd be greatly appreciated. I need the make my journey and want it to be as peaceful as possible under the circumstances. Thank you so much.

I want to use this method also, I wish there was a way to "bump" the thread.

Every time I get started, I start swallowing and chicken out.
