Just want you to know that I have just successfully received the gift from D to Europe (paid with BTC).
I'm so happy - happy that I could die, literally.

Did he use a courier, or did he send it through a postal service? I'm too, considering ordering N (to an EU country), but worried about customs.

If I don't use UPS, then I can't track my package with Informed Delivery (because I've read from Dark Net-seasoned users that they can trace whenever someone looks up their tracking number manually, and if the package is illegal doing so only further implicates you or something? So you just check the auto-updates of all of your incoming packages via the Informed Delivery website instead...)

Or does the implication factor not apply with tracking numbers provided by private couriers, only in the case of UPS?

It's supposedly "safer" but with a lot more steps & is a lot more complex. Beyond my own capabilities personally (though that's not saying much, as I'm the type that struggles even with regular ol' Bitcoin).

Sadly you can't check track tracking through private couriers (UPS, DHL, etc.) with informed delivery. Doesn't matter though as it shows up within a few days anyway in most circumstances. I don't think customs risk matters between UPS and DHL.

that's what I thought initially but now disagree here. it's a misconception. in practice, it is equally as simple to handle than bitcoin. so all you've got to do is to purchase monero instead of bitcoin in the first place

Yeah, people over at exit order from B and it's been fine. Get within 10 days of ordering. Been a mixture of D and N. Have sent it for testing and come back with legit product.
