Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It's been a while since i've been on here for recovery purposes but i wanted to talk about it since i guess my initial method was successful but the circumstances I found out was terrible.

I live in an old house with 3 other roommates. I planned on ctb by FS hanging with a pull up bar as an achor point in my basement. I was caught and forced to take the set up down (basically just put the pull up bar down and put on a shelf in my basement with the rope still attatched) one of my roommates decided to do laundry at 3am. Soon after I went to the hospital and was admitted to the psych ward.

Once I got discharged my friends took me out to a party with my roommates coming with us except for one who chose to stay home. We got home around 4am and I went downstairs to just check if my set up was there and found the roommate that stayed behind dead, hanging using my set up. I could tell he had been gone for a while so we called the police and I've been traumatized from that ever since.

I still have suicidal ideations but feel as if I can't even do it anymore since I put so much research into my method to make sure it was successful and fool proof (which i mean i guess it is) and dealing with the aftermath has been absolute hell. Having to still live in the house since my landlord is a bitch and wont break the lease and then his family blaming me since i didnt dispose of the set up. It sucks. If you plan on ctb at home and have roommates, please think through the aftermath like sell your things, pay your rent or set up a way for your portion to be paid etc… like i paid my portion of rent for the rest of the lease before i was going to ctb just to make it easier if my attempt went through.

im beyond sorry for you. his family blaming you is disgusting. there is nothing uniquely genius about an anchor point and a ligature; he would have absolutely figured out a method like that for himself considering there was clearly already some forethought and planning on his behalf. rest in peace to him & im sorry you had to witness him + the aftermath. the fact people would even try to find someone to pin the blame on in a situation like this is sick.

Parents love to put the blame on anything they can find: chat gpt, sasu, drug dealer, sad music playlist. I hope op doesnt blame themselves, I 'm very sorry about what happened to OP, that sounds so awful.

i had a happy life a few years ago, but then one day i was out walking through a forest and accidentally tripped on a tree root and landed on SaSu and I've been here ever since... It's all SaSu's fault!

But seriously OP, people make their own choices, that absolutely wasn't your fault and no one would predict that. I'm sure you feel awful, but totally not your fault at all.

This is so sad to read. Please know that you are not to blame for your roommates death. You weren't to know that they would use your set up.
