This is a embarrassing part of my life. I can't help it, it's like eye candy to me and i keep collecting it. My brain's rotting from it.
Here's the weird part, i don't even masturbate a lot maybe 3 times in a whole week. It's becoming a hobby to keep collecting porn, being in porn communities. I see more porn than i see people in real life; i feel disgusted about this and i want to quit or moderate it down, i have a girlfriend who i met online i love her and she loves me too. It makes me feel like i'm backstabbing her whenever i watch anything like that.


I know some of you might laugh at this but i am struggling with it, any advice which i can apply to put an end to this?

I'm addicted to porn too. I don't know how to help you but you certainly need to stop, for respect to your girlfriend. And for your mental health. Try reddit communities that are against porn, or maybe AI, tell what you have tried, but you need to stop porn.

i used to be somewhat addicted to porn myself and there were periods in my life where i pretty much mastrubated everyday it was usually before i went to sleep i would bust a nut and then go sleep
and how i stopped eventually was just realising that i am not even enjoying this it just an addiction, its something i have integrated in my routine what also helped me was this book https://easypeasymethod.org/
tho i do disagree with some points of the book and it does say you will be free of addiction if you complete the book sincerely which isnt necessarily true lol however it did help me know how this whole addiction works and did play a role in not relying on porn anymore

porn is a REAL addiction, i once read that watching porn releases dopamine similar to a hit of crack and it should be treated that way too, as a drug.

it is NOT easy to quit and you will relapse on this journey but try not to beat yourself up if you do, you have to keep in mind that this shit is literally like being addicted to heroin and it is way easier to access than any other drug.

if you can then try to block any pornographic websites and try to spend most of your days outdoors, exercising, hobbies whatever, just anything that will keep your mind off porn.

write down anything that makes you want to watch porn, any feelings, urges etc and try to be conscious of them.

maybe try to taper off in a way, going cold turkey usually never works.

Porn is NOT a personal failure: not any more than being addicted to social media. Social media abuses your novelty circuits—porn your sexuality circuits.

I know this is really rough and having a lot of affects on your system. Think of it like sleep deprivation. It feels like HELL. But there is a morning for you. Even when the night struggle to fall asleep feels so exhausting <3<3<3.

If you ever happen to come into physical embodied presence with your girlfriend, this will also help you out too ^^. This would really help make you feel fulfilled—which will naturally produce lessened porn use as a side effect ^^. Is this an option for you?

If not; maybe having calls or even video calls with your girlfriend could help.
