My friend just told me to NOT commit suicide for society , so they don't win

It's more of a problem with genetics than society IMO. It's the luck of the genetic lottery that you became who you are. Though I do believe in some sort of free will, that is limited.

If you do end up dying, then society loses. I don't get how society wins if you commit suicide.

Suicide is the only way to go completely out of the control of whoever/whatever is doing harm to you. It is a sudden twist that makes everybody's stupid games not fun anymore. Even if you don't 'win' the game by ctb, you at least make it not so fun for those who still play.

Its the opposite, you will win if you kill yourself, because society always says you should keep on living.

Actually, that is a big reason why I want to commit suicide. I do not wish to contribute to this cesspool of a "society" by being a consumerist tax slave to the government and pig-greedy corporations. If anything, I think not doing so is an act of submission.
