Yesterday's was the turning point for me I had a mental breakdown a very bad one long story short my family wants to hospitalize me asap but I'm a adult so I don't believe this could happen unless I concent well I can no longer wait to ctb my options are kind of limited I'm thinking about trying the hanging method .
hanging off of a bunk bed .
the bunk bed is 5ft 1 inches in height
I'm only 5feet 4inches in height so if I kneel down and hang myself around 4feet 2inches I may be successful if I apply a lot of pressure idk I did measurements yesterday to see if it would work I think it could and it's wood not metal it's strong but idk if it's strong enough to hold my entire weight for that long any suggestions for me? I also need a suggestion on what rope to buy ?

I don't think you should panic and act spontaneously. I mean how likely is it that you could be hospitalised? What country are you in?

I've been planning my hanging for a while I just don't know if the wood bunk bed is strong enough to hold my entire weight and I'm in the states it's not likely without my concent but I'm not 100% sure as I never had it happen to me before

Try not to rush. If your attempt does not work you will be hospitalized for sure. Take some time and don't panic.

maybe being hospitalized for a while is not such a bad idea, you know
it probably won't change your wish to CTB, but you'll be looked after by health professionnal, maybe you'll make friend, and it won't last forever aswell, you'll get out
i would recommand that than rushing your CTB especialy since hanging is horribly painful and the risk of failure is so high, the risk is not worth the reward to me
good luck
