• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Every year at my annual, I only have 1 request from my Dr. Please sign my DNR-CC. I've had this doctor for years and I completely understand advance directives. He keeps refusing and saying I'm too young! I just want out of here! I can't do another year of this! I think he thinks I'll attempt again, that is highly likely but I have rights too! Once we survive an attempt, are we no longer able to make these decisions? Are we forever labeled "suicidal?" Anyone have an experience with this? Whether he signs I or not, I will attempt at some point regardless!

Even if it was signed, if you tried to kill yourself, they would still try to resuscitate you. .

You answered your own question really. You know why he won't - because you have a history of trying to kill yourself and you're too young - pretty standard from a doctors perspective - it would be unethical of him to do that, don't you think?

We probably are labeled suicidal forever, yeah. If you have a long history of something, it'll always be there. Just the way it is.

I'm 35 years old with a long history of trying to kill myself so it wouldn't be a surprise to anyone, especially given the shit I'm currently going through.

It's your choice if you want to end your life. Having a do not resuscitate isn't going to change that fact. Merely make sure you're not going to be found, simple.
